LOVING FLASH FORWARD on C5!!!!! Just read the book and have an idea what caused the Flash Forwards. Don't know if the team are going to stick to the script and use the same reason as the book but watch out for Lloyd Simcoe if they do!

Population: A Country's Gold or the Root of Poverty unrated
There has been a never ending debate on how every family should limit their size. About The Dust of a Thousand Places unrated
The Dust of A Thousand Places takes us to Aden, Yemen in the last embers of British rule. The story, told from the point of view of a handful of characters, goes beyond any personal story to speak essentially of a time and a place. The place is a land that has never yielded and will submit to no one -neither one man's efforts to tame nature nor another's greed. And time is running out for ...

It's not your "beach" read.  However, if you are interested in history this book has excellent drawings and lovely photographs.  Take a chapter at a time if you want to know more about the buildings whilst exploring south east Kent.  I am biased because I am a friend of one of the authors.

Stephen Donaldson's Gap Sequence unrated
Forget his fantasy titles, Donaldson's sci-fi series also known as the "Gap Sequence", is truly something to behold! His writing throughout is powerful, thought-provoking, the plot lines are incredibly complex and the pace is gripping from start to end. Not a series of books you can dip in and out of easily, not that you'll want to! I read them back to back, as soon as I reached the last ...

Many of the great travel icons like the Taj Mahal or Macchu Pichu are so instantly familiar that they have virtually passed into our collective conscious: even people who have never left home can instantly recognise them.
