Morgans earlier book 'The Insider' was great- a real close-up perspective on some of the major events and personalities of the 80s and 90s, as seen by this tabloid editor. In his follow-up 'Don't You Know...' whilst there is some mileage in his look at the nature of personality, he's simply operating in a much smaller, less interesting arena nowadays. From Presidents, Prime Ministers and Royalty, to 'Britains Got Talent', Morgan's obviously raking it in now, and has smoothed over some of his very rough edges, but it makes for a lesser book this time.
