A heart wrenching yet hilarious take on the world as seen through the eyes of 9 year old Oskar, in which the death of his father in the 9/11 attack has left Oskar with a fervent desire to find out more about him.

A book that captures a child's unspoilt perception of human relationships - the quiet scenes, small tragedies, the emptiness of love, and the warmth of individuals no longer present. This is not the average happy-go-lucky tale... Still, it will make you fall in love with the world and people around you once gain.

This story draws you in from the first page. It is the heartfelt tale of adventure and a young boy's search for answers in our ever changing world. Beautifully written, amazing imagery: a must read for all.

Having read his first novel and loved it i had an idea i would enjoy this one but little did i know how much!! From the first page to the last i didnt want it to end i had to keep reading it slowly as i wanted it to last as long as possible. You fall in love with Oscar and his search for the key he thinks will bring him closer to his father who died in 9/11 is just as the title says incredible. The sense of loss not only for Oscar but his grandparents is brilliantly done and the way he weaves it all together is magical. Read this book and i defy you not to love it!!
