Bookseller review
Meggie lives with her bookbinder father, Mo. She shares his love of books and all is well until a mysterious stranger, Dustfinger, appears on their doorstep. They are soon on the run and Mo is forced to reveal his secret. If he reads aloud, the characters from the book come alive! A great read, well written, full of adventure. I recommend the sequels Inkspell and Inkdeath.

Something all avid readers have dreamed of: their books coming to life as they read them... well, Funke has succeeded.
Just as in her story, with the unique ability that Mo has, the characters are 3D and come to life as you read. Her scenes are thick with detail and spark your imagination so you can almost taste the plot that surrounds you.
You'll be throwing yourself at the sequel and gagging for the last in the trilogy!!!
