This book provides an overview of some of the problems and issues facing school directors in the European Union (EU) member countries belonging to the Network and in 'associated countries'; highlight some of the features of the management and governance of schools in different countries represented and to undertake a comparative analysis of the main developments; to provide a range of case studies illustrating how school directors have interpreted, introduced and developed the 'European Dimension' in their schools.
