This is the best Jodi Picoult book that I have read. A real page turner from the very start. You really get a feel for both sisters and are torn between the two.

How far would you go to save someone you love? What happens if enough is enough? "My Sister's Keeper" follows the heart-wrenching story of the Fitzgerald family and their struggle in trying to answer some of life's most difficult questions. Kate has leukemia and is in desperate need of a new kidney. Her only match is Anna, her younger sister whose entire existence is because of Kate:
"They chose little embryonic me, specifically, because I could save my sister Kate. "We loved you even more,"my mother made sure to say,"because we knew what exactly we were getting. It made me wonder, though, what would have happened if Kate been healthy."
Anna clearly loves her sister but has always been expected to do anything to save her sister-even if it means going against her own wishes, denying her own thoughts and fears. She has had enough and decides to sue her parents for the rights to her own body. How will the family survive?
This is an emotional, gripping read. Jodi Picoult has an immense talent of creating complex, diverse characters and putting them in seemingly everyday dilemmas. You will be glued to the pages, trying to discover if a solution, if any, is found...
