Bookseller review
If you read 'Case Histories', which introduced Jackson Brodie, you will love this novel. The writing is witty and threads of narrative are interwoven to keep the reader continually engaged.

Surprisingly, I read this book largely because of the recommendation from Ian Rankin on the cover. I'd never read any other Kate Atkinson books, thought she was more of a 'woman's author', I'm not a huge Crime fine. But the book was a pleasant surprise- well plotted, with several well-rounded characters- some obviously from earlier novels, but this didn't detract from this book, rather encouraged me to read more Kate Atkinson novels.

I really enjoyed 'When will There Be Good News', and bought this straight afterwards. It's a pretty easy read, a comical thriller really. The humourous thoughts of the characters are great. Not quite as gripping, but a really good read.
