St John Ambulance
Being a member of the St John Ambulance brigade today, this book brought the world of war frighteningly close. Had I been born fifty years earlier this could have been me. It made me wonder about the substance of the youth of today and whether they would have been able to rise to the occasion as so many did during World War 2. Very thought provoking and emotional!
