What a brilliant idea: a boy with ADHD and dyslexia who discovers he's the son of the God Poseidon. I don't really need to say more except that after reading this, I wanted to read the others and go on a quest to learn more about mythology. Another great series that's ideal for both boys and girls. It's fantastical without being too beardy-weirdy (no offence Gandalf, I still love you). It's current and cool.

After reading the Percy Jackson series I quickly decided Rick Riordan was my favourite author. It is told through Percy's eyes, but that just makes the story more exciting!
Like the person below, I was immediately intrigued by Greek Mythology and through the Percy Jackson books I have learnt a lot about it!
What more can I say? Brilliant!
