Bookseller review
The story of a man pinning for a past he can never reclaim, The Great Gatsby is viewed by many as a classic. Beautifully told by one of America's best writers it is one of the saddest tales of a wasted life and the destruction caused by those you thought you could trust.

Fitzgerald's most famous novel is set in the glamorous world of the swinging 1920s. Our narrator meets Gatsby and his friends and is caught up in their wealthy and beautiful lifestyle. Only slowly does he learn about the emptiness underneath and the longings which are barely hidden. It's a beautifully written story which dazzles and seduces just like Fitzgerald's characters.
