  Step into society with style...

  Not to advocate the judging of books by covers but if you love the dress then rest assured that the story of these turn of the century NYC socialites is just as vibrant, scandalous & sumptuous. The next two installments, 'Rumours' & 'Envy', delve deeper & deliver more. With another, 'Splendor', on the scene by the end of the year this is a series that's going strong.

  Welcome to The Luxe...

  I really enjoyed this book - yet another brilliant teen fiction series.

  It's set in Manhattan, in 1899, and mostly revolves around a group of five teenagers - Elizabeth, Diana, Will, Henry and Penelope.

  It's full of scandal, lies, betrayal and jealousy, and is instantly addictive.

  It reminded me of Gossip Girl, if it were set in 1899.

  Fab-u-lous!

  The whole luxe series is amazing!

  The characters are so well presented that you get to know every twist and turn in their mind. You begin to feel just like one of them as the scandalous happenings of the story feel like your being told a juicy bit of gossip. Take this and set it all in the glamour of upper class 1899-1900 and you will just be desperate for more.

  Enjoy with your favourite beverage, box of chocolates and a deep bubble bath for a truely girly night in. For teenagers and grown women alike.
