I liked Jane Green before reading The Other Woman and this one didn't let me down. Ellie is looking forward to marrying Dan, the love of her life she never thought she'd meet. The only drawback is the over-indulgent, over-bearing and over-involved other woman - Dan's mother.
I was expecting a decent yet predictable story of a daughter-in-law/mother-in-law relationship but was really pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns that made the story extremely readable. The characters have depth, and flaws which make them incredibly human.
And now I'm just grateful that my Mother-in-law isn't like this one.

Great funny read. Typical mother in law from hell story, with some surprising twists and turns. Made me smile.
