Imagine, your a healthy young girl, struggling through difficult times and suddenly you're deaf.

Now imagine you're in a darkened room that suddenly shakes with the force of an explosion. You listen for more bombs but you hear nothing, silence, complete silence.

I feared for the life of the character as the story unfolded around her. I wanted to protect her and help her through the blitz. I ran through the pages as I became more and more immersed and felt unable to put the book down.
