The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This is a great book for very young children, Carle's bold illustrations capture the imagination, there are lots of fruit and vegetables, ounting, a very hungry caterpillar and a magical surprise at the end, can you guess why the caterpillar might be quite so hungry?
The board book format makes it easier for younger children to get to grips with weaving the caterpillar through the pages.
