Russell Watson has appeared at Manchester United's Old Trafford, Wembley Stadium, Twickenham and on Channel 4's TFI Friday . This autobiography reveals the true rags-to-riches tale of the former YTS trainee at a bolt cutting factory who became Britain's best-selling operatic tenor. In the book he recounts how his life began to change when Martin Edwards, then chairman of Manchester United, heard Russell and invited him to come and perform before a game at Old Trafford. That was in 1998, by 1999 he performed in Barcelona before the Champions League Final and in 2001 singing with Pavarotti.
