I am sure you have heard of this book, it is one of my favourites which I return to often. A story which can be read on many levels. For older children, the tale of a band of rabbits leaving for a new home with lots of trials on the way and good triumphing over evil. For adults, a chance to question the way we treat our fellow mammals. So much more than a story about cuddly bunnies, with a satisfying end.
