From Friday 1^st May Borders will sponsor SkyArts 1 and Arts 1 HD channels.

The 15 second bumper breaks will be shown coming in and out of each sponsored programme and will run either side of all ad breaks. The short animations introduce the line ‘Let’s Escape’, three origami creations made from the pages of books and aim to bring to life the idea of Borders being a haven for escapism.

Sky Arts offers a range of leading arts and culture programmes every day. Sky Arts 1 showcases the great of contemporary culture, from rock and books to modern art and film. Highlights include a nightly classic rock slot, Centre Stage, exclusive daily coverage of the Guardian Hay Festival with Hay-on-Sky, presented by Mariella Frostrup, and the third series of our cultural quiz show What the Dickens? presented by Sandi Toksvig.
