Mel C announces first pregnancy

Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has revealed that she is expecting her first baby with her partner of six years, Thomas Starr.
The 34-year-old singer, known as Sporty Spice in the band, was until now the only member of the girl group not to have had a child.
During the recent Spice Girls reunion world tour, Geri, Emma, Mel B and Victoria habitually used to invite their children on stage while they performed their hit single Mama, much to the delight of their fans.
Mel admitted that bonding with the Spice kids on the tour had made her feel broody and expressed her hopes to start a family of her own.
Announcing the good news on her website, Mel promised fans that she would be back soon with a fifth album.
She said: "Some happy news. Well, I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy.
"I will need to take some time off to be a mum but, before you know it, we'll be back."
