Kate Winslet has revealed that her daughter Mia was surprised recently to find out that the actress's Revolutionary Road co-star Leonardo DiCaprio is famous.
Winslet is reunited with DiCaprio in the forthcoming drama for the first time since their momentous pairing in 1997's Titanic.
Since the actors were so young when they first met, they have remained close friends and DiCaprio has gotten to know the English star's children well enough to be affectionately called 'Uncle Leo'.
Winslet told Contact Music: "There was a picture of Leo on the front of a newspaper and Mia picked it up and went, 'Mum, it's Leo, he's on the cover of the newspaper. We should really keep this and send it to him, mummy.' "
The 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress is currently promoting another film, The Reader, a Holocaust drama adapted from the 1995 novel of the same name by German law professor Bernhard Schlink.
