for a first novel this was fantastic. it brought 13th centry and moden day to life. this love sorry evokes laughter and sadness. this book just wants to be read i couldn't put it down and was saddened when it came to an end. i hope that every one that reads this will vote for it in the richard and judy book club. i can't wait to see what andrew davidson writes next.

this is one of the best book that i have ever read. this is a book that is able to evoke all your emotions. it shows a real insight into what life is like in other counrty and makes you thankful that it is something that we donnot have to go throughwe are free to married whom we wish. i hope that every one that reads this book gets as much out of it as i did
