The Twelfth Card
Jeffery Deaver

4 out of 5 (0 agreements, disagreements)

Very nicely done with a few curve balls to keep the reader guessing. When at last the crime becomes clear, the criminal becomes less so!

From Potter's Field
Patricia Cornwell

Not the best Scarpetta novel Cornwell has done. I like the Temple Gault character but so much more could have been made of it. I'm certain to read his other appearance to fill it in. It all felt a little rushed toward the end.

The Cold Moon
Jeffery Deaver

5 out of 5 (1 agreements, disagreements)

If you enjoyed Lincoln Rhyme's big screen appearance in "The Bone Collector" then reading "Cold Moon" will have you yelling for a sequel. Cold Moon is by far the most richly conceived web of deceit, plot and counter plot that Lincoln Rhyme has encountered. An absolutely fantastic read that is an essential book shelf item for fans of crime thrillers.
