I really want to read 'A Sleepwalkers Introduction to Flight'. Has anyone read it? If so, what's the general consensus?
This book has everything a classic good read should have. It is a tale told with great humour and its fast moving plot with many twists and turns that will keep you gripped. The main character wakes up from a two year coma with the curious symptom that he can't sleep. What to do with his time? He needs a mission...
Loved this genius tale - Mikey who wants to be a Clavadista (Mexican Cliff-diver) has a accident practicing to dive into a plastic pool in his garden. The characters he meets and journey he takes are dark and funny - very enjoyable and totally worth re-reading. Highly recommended.
If you're looking for an original, highly inventive and totally curious tale, told with great warmth and humour, then this is a book for you. Beautifully observed characters and wildly imaginative storyline, this book manages to be both laugh-out-loud funny and poignantly moving all at the same time - I couldn't put it down, and neither could all the people I've passed it on to - I highly recommend it to everyone who loves a great story...
