i love nothing more than a good book, yet lately i can't seem to lose myself in them as i once did!

i love fiction novels based on medieval history (books written by philippa gregory etc)

Labyrinth

You might try Labyrinth by Kate Moss. It is a gripping page-turner with the narrative split between contemporary Europe and the Carcassone and surrounding region of the middle ages.
