History circa 1600-1800 book clubs

I’m looking for a group of like-minded people that would be interested in meeting up regularly to discuss/debating/ or just listening in on historical events/books discussions, circa 1600-1850s.

If debating the merits of Captain Cook’s explorations or the Pilgrims’ exploitation of native Indians during the 17th century get’s the intellectual juices flowing, then please hold your virtual hand in the air and let’s arrange a first meeting at Boarders (Bournemouth or Southampton).
